Wow, its been a while since I last posted. I will be better in future, I promise.
Earlier this month I went to Cake International in Birmingham. This was my first year here and I loved. To me it's like being in Cake heaven. Anything and everything to do with cake. I also met up with some fellow cake makers through Twitter which was nice.
There were also various competitions under various categories. I was so impressed by the standard, that it has given me added motivation in terms of improving my technique. Below are some pics...

Event Review: Can't Buy Me Love Vintage Market 30th October
This was my first time at this market. I was a last minute addition as the regular cake seller was unable to make it. I was contacted by Jet Payne, the organiser of this monthly market to see if I was able to step in. And step in I did. As this was a Halloween market, I decided to do a special Halloween Orange Cake..
This was the first cake to sell out!! People seemed to like the whole Halloweeney (is that at word) aspect of it. In addition I had Lime and Coconut, Banana, Carrot Cake, Chocolate Marble Cake with White Chocolate Buttercream and I also did Butterscotch Cookies..
Another best seller, sold out of these as well.
This was the best market I have done so far. Lovely crowd, lovely stall holders, not lovely weather, but this didn't stop the public coming out!!
